Got back from the Mangaholix convention, and feeling really tired. I didn't shoot as much as i normally would, but still shot a fair amount. Just below 200 shots.

The individual cosplay competition was funny and epic, which was one of the things i was looking forward to. The awkward situations that the cosplayers had to go through was REALLY funny since it's a elimination type of competition. Imagine Rock Lee (Naruto) vs Martial Law (Tekken), or a gundam vs a chibi power ranger?

The 5 judges dont need to tally the scores, they just either raise a blue or red card, each representing the side of the cosplayers.


Now other than the individual cosplay, there was lots of space to move around, and the venue was nice and air conditioned. The lighting was in the 1/10 F4 ISO 500 range indoors which made it semi-difficult to shoot, but easily tolerable.

Oh yes, i bought myself cat ears again (:3), which makes this my 2nd set (would have been my 3rd if my HS friend didn't take mine the other day )

In summary, the convention was fun, and there are lots of places to rest. Noticed that there were lots of empty tables and chairs after a card game tournament, and it made it ideal for people to rest there.

Long Week

Yep, this coming week will be a loooooong one, as one of the bands i'm following, SinoSikat?, will be busy for the entire week, starting today (monday) until friday, and to make things a bit hectic, UPAME will be this coming saturday, and hero con will be on the next monday (2 days after AME).

Oh yes, i might be attending a cosplay shoot this sunday too. so that makes it 8 days straight.

Angst

For some reason, i'm feeling very Angsty lately. I cant pinpoint the reason, but there is something bothering me. There are times when i'm all set and ready to go, then suddenly, i dont feel like going anywhere. I just sit there for a while, doing nothing. It's not a good feeling, and it feels like it paralyzes me. I should try to shake it off, but i just wish it's as easy to do as saying it.
